With this control unit, you have the option to control your exhaust valves via the Drive Select, the cruise control lever and the exhaust button.

Drive Select

Dynamic / Performance

The exhaust flaps are permanently open, thus increasing the volume. The result is a sporty sound.

Comfort / Auto

Flaps open from 4100rpm / 80% throttle (just before kickdown)

Individual

In the individual profile, the "Engine Sound" setting allows you to choose how the exhaust valves are operated.

Exhaust Button

With the help of the original exhaust button on the steering wheel, the valves can be freely opened and closed in any driving profile!

Active (Engine Sound "Sport")

The exhaust valves are permanently opened, thus increasing the volume. The result is a sporty sound.

Inactive (Engine Sound "Normal")

Valves closed; the valves only open when the engine is under load

Cruise Control Lever

By pulling the cruise control lever twice towards you, the flaps can be opened independently of the Drive Select. This enables the valves to stay permanently open in Auto or Comfort mode - otherwise not possible. This setting is saved. Important: In the Dynamic / Performance driving mode, the exhaust valves cannot be closed manually using this function.
