The module is suitable for racing vehicles that are built on a BMW M5 [G90 / G99]. Not approved for use on public roads according to the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO). For racing, show purposes, or export only.

With this control unit, you can operate your exhaust valves via the "M Sound" setting in the infotainment system.
By default, the valve position does not remain permanently open even when the "M Sound" option is activated. With our module the exhaust valves can be fully and permanently controlled via the sound setting.

Active

The exhaust flaps are permanently opened, thus increasing the volume. The result is a sporty sound.

Inactive

The valves switch just like in the stock configuration, meaning only at higher load.

Key Combination

The module is activated or deactivated via a key combination. When the module is deactivated, everything acts as if no module is installed.
