With this control unit, you have the option to control your exhaust flaps via the driving modes and the ESP button.


Functionality and Benefits

Driving Profiles
Cupra

The exhaust flaps are permanently open, thus increasing the volume. The result is a sporty sound.

Sport

Flaps open from 3000rpm / 80% throttle (just before kickdown)

Comfort, Eco, Offroad, Snow

Flaps open from 4500 rpm / 80% throttle (just before kickdown)

Easy Switch
ESC 2x
Double click on the Set or ESC button

With a double click on the ESP button (operation via the display under CAR / Setup), the flaps can be opened and closed independently of the driving profile. The automatic opening at 4500rpm is always retained.

Standard Mode
SSA 7sec
Hold SSA button for 7 seconds

Hold the SSA button for 7 seconds, and the module will be deactivated. Everything behaves as if no module is installed. As feedback for a successful activation or deactivation, the SSA light will automatically switch.

Notes on Driving Profiles when Parking in Cupra Mode

Without Control (Stock):

  • Ateca Pre-Facelift: Cupra mode displayed after vehicle start. Flaps will be closed.
  • Ateca Facelift: Comfort mode displayed after vehicle start. Flaps closed.

With Our Control:

  • Ateca Pre-Facelift: Cupra mode displayed after vehicle start. Flaps open.
  • Ateca Facelift: Comfort mode displayed after vehicle start. Flaps open.

Notes

  • No approval in the StVO (German Road Traffic Regulations)
  • For use in motorsport or for show purposes only
  • The flaps should not be completely closed during full load driving
