The module is suitable for racing vehicles that are built on a Audi SQ5 [FY]. Not approved for use on public roads according to the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO). For racing, show purposes, or export only.

With this control unit, you have the option to control your exhaust flaps via the Drive Select and the ESP button.


Functionality and Benefits

Drive Select (Individual: Engine Sound)
Dynamic

The exhaust flaps are permanently open, thus increasing the volume. The result is a sporty sound.

Auto

Flaps open from 3000rpm / 80% throttle (just before kickdown)

Comfort

Flaps open from 4500rpm / 80% throttle (just before kickdown)

Easy Switch
ESC 2x
Double click on the ESC button

With a double click on the ESP button, the flaps can be opened and closed independently of the Drive Select. The automatic opening at 4500rpm is always retained.

Standard Mode
SSA 7sec
Hold the SSA button for 7 seconds

Hold the SSA button for 7 seconds, and the module will be deactivated. Everything behaves as if no module is installed. As feedback for a successful activation or deactivation, the SSA light will automatically switch.

Installation

The installation is plug and play. The module must be connected directly to the exhaust flaps. The module itself is placed in the trunk. The cables are routed through an existing cable entry from the inside to the outside (instructions are included in the delivery).

  • No approval in the StVO (German Road Traffic Regulations)
  • For use in motorsport or for show purposes only
  • The flaps should not be completely closed during full load driving
  • Installation at your own risk
